The Dani tribe believe Tabuni's body must be cremated in order to respect his courage and struggle in defending his tribe. The war started because the Damal tribe was not willing to pay a fine in compensation for a rape which Dani tribesmen suspected a Damal tribe member had committed, according to the tribes. One person died, a police officer said on Friday.
